Our approach
M’llice collects as little personal information as possible — only what we need to respond to you and to run our service. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, contact us, or submit a piece to sell, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, your email address or phone number, and the contents of your message (and, for a consignment, details of the piece).
- Technical information. As with most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type in its server logs, which helps keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- respond to your enquiry and arrange any purchase or consignment;
- provide customer care and keep records of our correspondence; and
- protect the site from abuse and meet our legal obligations.
How your information is handled
Your message is delivered to us by email through our email provider, Resend, and our website and imagery are hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments, and only to the extent needed to operate the site and respond to you. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Cookies & tracking
Our public pages do not use advertising or analytics cookies. A single, strictly necessary cookie is used only to keep our own team signed in to the private admin area — it is never set for ordinary visitors browsing the collection.
Data retention
We keep enquiry and consignment correspondence only as long as needed to assist you and to maintain reasonable business records, after which it is deleted.
Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, simply contact us — see below.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and the providers we rely on maintain industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission is ever entirely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive financial details by email.
Children
Our site is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
International transfers
Because the providers we use operate internationally, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that is the case, we rely on those providers’ safeguards to protect it.
